A long-lasting way to replace missing teeth that looks, feels and works like your own.

Dentist talking with a patient about treatment options

What is a dental implant?

An implant is a small post placed in the jawbone where a tooth is missing. Once it heals, it holds a crown, bridge or denture firmly in place. Because it's anchored like a natural tooth root, there's nothing to slip or remove.

Who implants can help

  • People missing one tooth who don't want to grind down neighboring teeth for a bridge
  • People missing several teeth in a row
  • Denture wearers who want a more secure fit

Not everyone is a good fit right away. Dr. Pecson will check your bone and gum health first and talk through every option, including alternatives to implants.

Options we offer

  • Single-tooth implants with a crown
  • Implant-supported bridges
  • Implant-supported dentures

What to expect

  1. Consultation. An exam and x-rays to see if implants are right for you, and a clear plan for your treatment.
  2. Placement. The implant is placed, then given time to bond with the bone, usually a few months.
  3. Your new tooth. A custom crown, bridge or denture is attached to the implant.

Paying for implants

We're a fee-for-service practice. We accept all major credit cards and offer in-house payment plans to spread the cost out. Call us to talk through your options.
